Project Description

Due to significant passenger growth, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) launched an airport development program to expand the airport facilities to accommodate future air traffic demand. The newly expanded passenger terminal is a 3-level terminal comprising of 36,000 m2 and includes 5 passenger boarding bridges and new modern facilities and technology. The overall program includes a new expanded terminal capable of handling 1,300 peak-hour passengers, new access roadway, multi-story car park, central plant, new IT communications & security and a sustainable GRIHA-4 star rating.

The JW Group provided complete conceptual design and schematic design services for all architectural, information technology, security, airport planning, and terminal programming. All services related to structural, civil, MEP and infrastructure including the development of detailed design documents were provided by the local strategic partner.
