The JW Group assisted the City of San Jose in developing a recommended organizational model for supporting IT systems and applications at the San Jose International Airport. To support this project the JW Group reviewed and documented the existing information technology (IT) support model, reviewed and analyzed alternate methodologies, and provided a recommended support model to the City of San Jose that better aligns with the Department of Aviation’s current business processes. The recommendations developed as part of this project were used as the basis for developing procurement documentation to solicit and select third party service providers and an outsourced CIO to assist the City in supporting technology systems.
