The JW Group (JWG) worked with Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) in developing the IT Strategic Plan and five-year technology roadmap for a number of key future projects and initiatives to guide the airport through a digital transformation. The plan included an inventory and assessment of the airports existing technology environment, evaluation of emerging technologies that could have a positive impact to streamlining business operations and drive efficient and safe operations of the Airport. DFW was interested in a plan that would guide the Information Technology Services department with planning, designing, procuring, implementing and managing technology investments and resources. As part of a multidisciplinary team, The JWG provided key consulting services in developing analysis, reports, stakeholder engagement initiatives, gap and SWOT analysis, cost estimating, phasing and prioritization for critical operational systems, financial and administrative systems and passenger journey and passenger experience solutions. The JWG also lead the human capital recommendations around IT staffing and IT organizational recommendations and standards for a sustainable approach to IT support, IT operations and IT project delivery. Specific systems the JWG team analyzed as part of the overall DFW IT Strategic Plan included: Oracle Cloud ERP for Finance and Human resources, SkiData Parking Revenue Management, Ground Transportation Management, Web Site and Mobile Applications, Project Management and Portfolio Management, Enterprise Content Management and Mass Notification systems
