Project Description
The JW Group has provided a wide range of consulting services to the Airport leadership – in support of their strategy implementation, systems investments, and various improvement initiatives associated with a Terminal Improvement Program. Under multiple contract vehicles and periods of performance, The JWG team members have designed and conducted multiple sessions with key management stakeholders to identify the mission, vision, and business and operational goals for the enterprise. Once this was identified, all work approaches were tailored to align with and support those identified goals and objectives.
The tasks performed to support the airport included the following:
- Defined enterprise-wide and function-specific performance metrics and targets;
- Developed a technology strategic plan focused on airport provided services, rates and charges and IT staffing plans.
- Redesign of procurement/inventory control, asset management, capital planning, and revenue management business processes;
- Developed a communications infrastructure master plan which included the physical communications infrastructure (cabling) as well as the local area network;
- Provided organizational change management assessment and planning;
- Developed a technology roadmap and phasing plans;
- Performed a communications center operational needs analysis, expansion and CCTV integration;
- Coordinated with TSA, Airlines and operations;
- Prepared RFQ/RFP and bid documents;
- Prepared and closed-out of PFC applications;
- Provided ERP procurement assistance services; and
- Construction administration services.
