Project Description
The JW Group (JWG) assisted the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority (SDCRAA) with analyzing the San Diego International Airport’s (SAN) communications services provided to terminal tenants. The result of this effort was to identify various alternatives to providing these services through third party concession agreements. Specific communications services that were analyzed included telephony services, Data and Internet services, cellular, and cable/satellite television services. As part of this effort, revenue enhancement and cost reduction opportunities associated with these services were identified and the legal ramifications of providing each service were reviewed. The overall result of this effort was a recommendation to proceed with Request for Proposal documentation to select and enter into a revenue sharing agreement with third party service providers to provide services to airport tenants.
