Project Description
The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) selected The JW Group (JWG) to perform a communications infrastructure assessment and to assist in the development of planning documentation in preparation for the projects to be completed as part of the Nashville International Airport (BNA) vision. The intent of the engagement was to identify the existing conditions of the communications infrastructure, develop an overall conceptual design that can be implemented/expanded/augmented through the various individual projects that will be performed as part of the BNA Vision and to identify other elements that should be addressed (such as policies, procedures, etc.) to develop an overall strategy for the communications infrastructure. The JWG was tasked to develop construction documentation for the buildout of a new Main Communications Room and fiber backbone and network enhancements to support the future growth at BNA.
