Project Description

The JW Group (JWG) was responsible for the design and development of a new communications infrastructure to support the South Campus of the Airport. The communications infrastructure included a concrete encased duct bank providing a resilient pathway from the Main Terminal around the East Campus back up to the South Campus, direct buried innerduct to provide a short-term pathway for the South Campus to support future phased construction, and outside plant fiber optic cabling to support connectivity to the East and South Campus.

Activities completed to support the engagement included:

Survey and assessment of existing conditions to determine expansion capabilities
Development of schematic design documentation
Cost estimates
Develop a plan for integration with existing conditions and other project elements.
