Project Description
The JW Group (JWG) personnel was responsible for the development of a Local Area Network (LAN) and corresponding cabling infrastructure in support of a new Multi-User Flight Information Display System (MUFIDS) at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW). Included in the scope of work was the development of a Basis of Design, Design Development, and Construction documentation detailing the equipment’s specifications, infrastructure and network drawings, rack elevations, cost estimates, implementation phasing plans, and project control methodologies (e.g. QA/QC, submittals, testing). Finally The JWG was engaged to provide construction administration of the implementation of LAN and associated cabling infrastructure to oversee the conformance with the contract documents and providing subject matter expertise in order to approve submittals and testing results.
