Orlando International Airport

As part of a multi-disciplinary team, The JWG provided Master Planning, Design, and Construction Management Services for an on-call services contract for the Orlando International Airport. The initial task order included the development of an Information Technology Strategic Plan to support GOAA’s initiatives including development of a robust flexible infrastructure to support continual changes in technology, business process improvements, enhanced situation awareness and migration toward a paperless work environment.

The JWG provided program and project management and support to the CCure 9000 access control and badging systems including software and hardware upgrades, as well as the development of a server replacement migration plan including the development of a standard server architecture.

The JWG was requested for multiple additional tasks:

• Planning, implementation and launch of a customer facing mobile application with push messaging/notification, indoor navigation, and wayfinding utilizing Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology
• Preliminary planning and design efforts for fiber pathways and duct banks to provide fault tolerance and to support new development Program management of PROPWorks, GIS and CMMS Deployments
• Development of new rates and charges for wired and wireless data as part of an update to the shared tenant services offerings
• Development of a distributed antenna system
• Design of the Airport Integrated Data Base (AIDB)
• Development of an emergency computer room
• Development of a PCI compliance self-audit
• Electronic Content Management System needs assessment
