Project Description
The JW Group (JWG) was part of a team to develop a technology master plan for the San Antonio International Airport. Included in the ITMP was a review and analysis of the technology systems and infrastructure throughout the airport campus. The ITMP developed recommended projects for implementation for a five-year planning period and provided project descriptions, full life cycle budget estimates, implementation durations, project dependencies, and a recommended schedule for performing the recommended projects. The information developed as part of the ITMP was used to develop procurement documentation for design, planning, and consulting services associated with the project implementations. The JWG provided recommendations for IT systems and infrastructure including wireless network, paging, horizontal cabling, AVI and taxi dispatch, asset management/maintenance management, capital planning and programming, properties, concessions, lease and revenue management, mobile applications, common use passenger processing and IT governance.
