Project Information Technology Master Plan (ITMP) and Distributed Antenna System

Project Description
The JW Group (JWG) was part of a team responsible for the development of an Information Technology Master Plan for the Memphis Shelby County Airport Authority (MSCAA). The ITMP included a current conditions report, industry best practices, gap analysis, system and staffing recommendations, and financial analysis. Included in the ITMP were airport communications and IT systems, airline and airside operations systems, airport landside operations systems, airport safety and security systems, airport facilities and maintenance systems, airport development systems, and airport administrative systems.
As a follow on project to the ITMP, the JWG personnel developed Request for Proposal documentation for the implementation and management of a carrier neutral Distributed Antenna System to support cellular service throughout the facilities. The RFP documentation included the business and revenue sharing business arrangement that was coordinated with the MSCAA properties department.
