Enrique Melendez Joins The JW Group

The JW Group is pleased to welcome Mr. Enrique Melendez to our aviation consulting team. As a Senior Special Systems Consultant, Enrique brings more than 25 years of aviation program management, enterprise integration, systems engineering, business process engineering and IT/security systems expertise.

Enrique is a recognized leader in the aviation industry and has worked globally at major world-class airports in the areas of planning, design, and implementation capacities. In addition, he has worked closely with the Airlines, IATA, Federal Aviation Administration, Transportation Security Administration, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Department of Defense.

With his strong airport and airline operations expertise, Enrique will further expand The JW Group’s consulting practice capabilities and in staying abreast of the latest innovative technology trends in areas such as enterprise integration, passenger processing systems, checkpoint of the future, A-CDM and IT/Security operational systems. His skills in programming, planning, design, and construction administrative services will bring true value for The JW Group’s clients.

Enrique is a Certified Member of the Association of Airport Executives and holds two Master of Science degrees in electrical engineering and engineering management from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the same institution. Mr. Melendez is a former Board Member of Airport Council International -North America, Airport Consultants Council and BWI Airport Commissioner. Mr. Melendez is a certified PMP and member of ASIS International.
